This past week I’ve attended the Tony Robbins event, it was fascinating how some things resonated with me and other things didn’t. What really stuck with me in is the acronym of the word SHAKE that one of the speakers pointed out.


– S is for Smile – a smile can change a lot in our psychology.

– H is for Hugging – Most of the time our hugs are rushed and superficial. Take the time to hug deeply and positively.

– A is for Appreciation – before you start your day, take some time to truly reflect on your surroundings and appreciate yourself.

– K is for Kid – be a kid for 5 to 10 minutes a day. Learn to loosen up and enjoy the moment.

– E is for exercise – Make it a habit to exercise and focus on your breathing.

I’ve come to think about it, how some of us do these things without paying attention to its importance. The key is being in the moment and aware of our actions. Which could pose a real struggle to people who live in the future or in the past.
